What You'll Do

As a member of our team, your role will primarily involve providing day-to-day support for the Jumpstart Community Granting portfolio. In addition, you will contribute to various projects aimed at achieving the overarching goals of our charity. Your responsibilities will include customer service, system administration support, research, and evaluating and improving internal processes. In this co-op, you will contribute significantly to the success of our charity, enabling us to make a positive impact in our community through sport.

  • Support the maintenance of an inbox for parent/grantee inquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and provide recommendations to improve internal processes based on industry best practices.
  • Lead projects that contribute to the current and future state of the charity, particularly in areas such as inclusive play and gender equity.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting both the Operations and Program teams.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across the charity as needed.

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business, Marketing, Event Management or other related discipline
  • Exceptional communication skills with the confidence and passion to share knowledge
  • Goal driven individual to seek out continuous improvement opportunities
  • The ability to take a collaborate approach to build strong relationships and have positive team experiences
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • A background/interest in sports & recreation is an asset
  • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset, but not required.
