We're seeking an IT Administrator to join our team on a hybrid basis, with a mix of remote and in-office work arrangements. As the first point of contact for many of our company's IT assets, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to grow into an Operations (Ops) position, as we invest heavily in talent development.
Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage inventory, adding new hardware to our IT asset management software
  • Collaborate with vendors and Ops team to resolve RMA issues
  • Coordinate new hardware purchases, deployment, and sign-outs with the Ops team
  • Configure and assist with deploying new company hardware to staff
  • Coordinate deliveries to and from the data centre, working closely with the Ops team
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees
  • Conduct quarterly access reviews for employees
  • Manage office network and infrastructure, including VPNs and access requirements
  • Maintain architectural and infrastructure-related documentation
  • Monitor and report on existing IT assets (servers, laptops, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Apple MacOS, Windows, and Linux to support end users
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, OpsGenie, and Asset IT management tools
  • Excellent soft skills, including communication, documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration
  • Ability to identify process improvements and automate tasks where possible
  • Familiarity with SOC2 compliance (desirable)
  • Experience with JumpCloud and ESET endpoint security (desired)
  • AWS experience (desired)
