Rumble is seeking a Financial Assistant to support our finance team in managing creator payouts and financial reporting. This key role involves working closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate tracking of creator earnings, processing payments, and providing insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor weekly and monthly creator earnings, ensuring timely payouts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Work with the Accounts Payable team to ensure smooth and accurate payouts to creators.
  • Prepare monthly or ad-hoc creator statements, summarizing earnings and payments.
  • Address and resolve creator support requests related to payments, earnings, and refunds.
  • Process refunds and investigate chargeback disputes with payment processors.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures, ensuring financial data is accurate and reconciled.
  • Perform monthly data validation and ensure the accuracy of large financial datasets.
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to provide financial data and reports for decision-making.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual audits, providing necessary documentation to external auditors.
  • Support the budgeting and financial forecasting process by providing relevant data and analysis.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and workflows.
  • Assist with special financial reporting and projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: University/college degree in business administration, accounting, or data analysis.
  • Skills: Proficient in Excel and Word; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite); familiarity with SQL is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a financial assistant, accounting, or data analysis role.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attributes: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of creator economics and content creation.
  • Experience with financial reporting and large data analysis.
  • Process improvement experience is a plus.
