Financial Analyst (Contract)

What will you work on?

The Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A is responsible for reporting to the Senior Manager and will work with all finance teams across different regions in order to assist in the consolidation of the Annual Budget and forecast processes for all three of Spin Masters creative centers.  They will also be responsible for producing/updating effective management that is timely and accurate.

How will you create impact?

• Producing/updating effective management reporting that drives insight into the business.  Key focus areas of profitability reporting, cost rationalization/containment, and variance analysis

• Support and assist in the development of SG&A reporting for the shared service departments.  This will include updating departmental scorecards and investigating variances

• Partner with the various finance departments in order to continuously improve financial transparency and processes

• Develop/analyze ad-hoc financial reports to support the business as required

• Assist in the consolidation of the Annual Budget and forecasts for all three of Spin Master's creative centers

• Review all budget/forecast submission and assess for viability, accuracy, and sensitivity

• Help prepare the Annual Budget/Forecast presentation material and associated backup schedules for the Board of Directors & Founders Council

What are your skills and experience?

• CPA designation or CPA enrollment preferred

• Experience with SAP BPC and/or SAP BI preferred

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Particularly Excel & PowerPoint)

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $70,000 to $80,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
