Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As the Director, Product - Value Add Services (VAS), within the Small to Medium Business (SMB) portfolio, you will lead a team of Product Managers responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of products and solutions across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape how Moneris serves current and future merchants and partners while strengthening our competitive position in the evolving payments industry. This role requires a combination of strategic product leadership, technical expertise, and market-focused product management experience.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Vice President, Product - Small to Medium Business (SMB).

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Define and execute portfolio strategy across products and markets, ensuring a clear and actionable product roadmap aligned to business objectives.

  • Lead the product lifecycle for new and existing products, from ideation and development through launch and ongoing optimization.

  • Oversee product packaging, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market support to expand market reach and adoption.

  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers and support cross-functional delivery teams in achieving portfolio objectives.

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Technology, Compliance, and Legal teams to deliver portfolio initiatives and business outcomes.

  • Measure product performance, customer experience, and customer satisfaction, while managing scope, timelines, costs, and issue resolution for product initiatives.

  • Own portfolio performance, including product profitability (P&L) and achievement of portfolio OKRs.

  • Develop and manage annual departmental business plans that support short-, mid- and long-term organizational goals.

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 7 years of product management experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience leading and developing teams.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product development practices.

  • Expertise in strategic planning, project management, portfolio management, change management, governance, and compliance.

  • Experience presenting business and technical recommendations to senior leaders and gaining alignment on strategic investments and priorities.

  • Experience applying product management frameworks, tools, processes, and techniques across multiple products or portfolios.

  • Experience with project delivery processes, Scrum frameworks, budget management, financial analysis, stakeholder management, and negotiation.

Experience that would set you apart

  • Master's degree.

  • Experience with payment systems and merchant acquiring.
