Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic content writer to join our dynamic marketing team, where you will create and proofread compelling content across platforms for both external and internal audiences. Your contributions will significantly help to build our brand’s voice and support CIMA+’s corporate initiatives. You will bring your strong interest in the design and construction of the built environment, an eagerness to learn about new projects and technologies, a problem-solving mindset, and a solid understanding of voice and storytelling in writing.

Primary responsibilities
- Write, edit, proofread and translate content for CIMA+’s website, blogs, social media, and various types of marketing collateral
- Conduct research and collaborate with subject-matter experts to produce detailed, accurate and strategically focused material
- Review and revise content based on client feedback as well as your own analysis
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop content strategies and meet deadlines
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all written materials
- Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate relevant topics into content
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional writing experience
- Fluency in spoken and written English and an intermediate level of French to be able to understand French source material
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and translation skills
- High attention to detail with respect to content as well as layout and design
- Strong research skills with the ability to adapt content to different uses and audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, content management systems, and social media platforms, and comfort working with technically rich material
