About Dr.Bill
Dr. Bill is a RBCx Venture that is working to take the pain out of medical billing and get doctors paid accurately. We are a high growth company that currently serves 11,000+ doctors in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta. Our greater goal is to improve the lives of Canada’s hardworking doctors—freeing them to spend more time focused on their patients and personal lives. As a Digital Content Manager you are passionate about content, leveraging your skillset to make a meaningful impact with Canadian Physicians. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy across our digital channels to ensure Dr.Bill maintains a strong and influential presence. Additionally you will play a key role in content creation and strategic deployment, aligning with our business objectives and driving growth.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing, you will:
Comprehensive Content Strategy
- Develop and maintain a strategic editorial calendar that aligns with Dr.Bill’s business objectives and engages target audiences.
- Oversee content development from ideation to execution, managing strategy, briefing stakeholders, scheduling, and publishing.
- Own the distribution plan of our content across our most efficient channels, to ensure engagement and reach.
- Serve as the SEO expert, optimizing content for search visibility and impact through strategic keyword use, trend analysis, and continual enhancements.
- Stay on top industry and customer trends to tailor content that resonates with target audiences.
Content Channels
- Own the support website and Dr.Bill marketing website; managing resource section, content upload, editing and updating product, and feature pages
- Design and implement strategic email marketing campaigns to drive engagement at each stage of the customer journey.
- Develop and manage a content strategy for Dr.Bill’s social media channels that aligns with brand tone, style, and quality standards.
Performance Monitoring
- Comprehensive understanding of content performance data, in order to attribute KPIs to each content effort.
- Own the reporting and analysis of content to monitor performance, channels effectiveness and customer experience in order to identify areas of optimization, potential challenges and signals of success.
Skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage priorities, schedules, and maintain accurate records.
- Self-motivated team player who values collaboration, thrives on feedback, and is comfortable working independently while influencing cross-functional initiatives.
Must-have:
- 5+ years experience as a Content Manager, Content Strategist, or similar role.
- Have the ability and experience to develop strategic and tactical content efforts that align to OKRs
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent training.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of content management systems and content creation tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Critical thinker, with an analytical mindset to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Basic copywriting.
- Knowledge of Wordpress, Hubspot, Conductor and Asana or similar, are an asset.
