We’re seeking an enthusiastic philanthropy champion to join our Cause Operations Team. The successful candidate will help establish vetting guidelines and processes to grow our global charity database.

As a Cause Operations Specialist, you’ll manage and maintain country-specific vetting guidelines and charity databases, working closely with our Operations and Client Success teams.

What you’ll do:

• Gather, analyze, and clean data to support processes
• Collaborate with teams to develop new processes and procedures
• Flag and escalate issues related to the vetting process
• Contribute to Benevity’s fraud prevention and watchlist screening strategy
• Suggest improvements for the vetting process and charity website
• Develop expertise in local and international charity laws/regulations
• Document and communicate updates within the vetting process to teams
• Ensure the integrity of the charity database
• Represent the Cause Operations Team and its processes effectively

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in the non-profit sector or international vetting is a plus
• Background in risk, compliance, or fraud prevention is beneficial
• Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical
• Strong ability to communicate complex information clearly, both in writing and verbally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Independent worker with sound judgment
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and adapts to shifting priorities
• Self-motivated, success-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (moderate to advanced)
