About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Brand Manager to help bring the Clutch brand to life across every touchpoint. You’ll own the day-to-day execution of our brand strategy, from managing our agency of record and leading creative briefs to ensuring campaigns, retail spaces, and brand initiatives are delivered at a high bar.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who understands what makes a great brand and knows how to turn strategy into action. You’ll work cross-functionally, push for best-in-class creative, and help us build Clutch into Canada’s next household name.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the Agency of Record Relationship: Serve as the primary point of contact for our agency of record, ensuring alignment on brand strategy, creative direction, and deliverables. Build a collaborative, high-performing relationship that keeps the agency accountable to timelines, budgets, and brand standards.
  • Own the Briefing Process: Lead campaigns from ideation through execution, writing and delivering creative briefs to the agency, managing production timelines, and ensuring all assets are approved and launched on time. You're the connective tissue between strategy and delivery.
  • Own Real Estate Design Approval: collaborating closely with the Real Estate team to ensure all retail spaces are executed in accordance with our approved Design Control Document. 
  • Drive Brand Planning: Be an active participant in brand planning sessions, contributing ideas, identifying opportunities, and helping shape the direction of upcoming campaigns and initiatives.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and Social Media Manager to ensure current brand plans are executed consistently across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Champion the Brand: Ensure every campaign, asset, and piece of communication reflects Clutch's brand voice, visual identity, and tone acting as a steward of the brand across all external and internal touchpoints. Regularly audit work across teams to make sure brand guidelines are upkept across all channels. 
  • Advocating for Best in Class Creative: our creative mantra is extremely important and we strive to stand out and be unique as a brand manager on this team you will help push the right teams to create creative tension. 
  • Monitor Trends and Competitors: Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts, bringing fresh ideas and insights to keep our brand ahead of the curve.
  • Measure and Report: Track campaign performance and key brand metrics, synthesizing insights and recommendations to inform future planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • You’ve got 4-6 years of brand or marketing work experience at either a startup, agency or CPG.
  • You have a bachelor degree (marketing preferred but not required) .
  • You have experience managing agency or vendor relationships, and are comfortable holding external partners accountable to timelines and quality.
  • You're highly organized and can juggle multiple campaigns and briefs at once without dropping the ball.
  • You're comfortable navigating fast-paced, changing environments.
  • You're a self-starter who takes ownership without being asked.
  • You're eager to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help the brand succeed.
  • You want a direct hand in building Canada's next household name.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working at an agency and/or in-house brand team.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a strong asset.

Employment Type:

  • Existing, Permanent Full-Time

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: 110,000 - 125,000
