Job Description

Position Purpose

  • The Bilingual Recruiter & HR Operations Specialist is responsible for driving all aspects of the unbanded (hourly) candidate recruitment process, including sourcing, assessment and administration. This involves supporting online and offline sourcing strategies, utilizing multiple methods and tools for all positions to ensure the continuous creation of candidate pipelines for the CAD Supply Chain network. Play an important role in building a strong employer brand to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and implement unbanded candidate sourcing strategies based on creatively conducting research and/or utilizing a multitude of resources.
  • Source potential candidates from multiple channels (social media, professional platforms, newspapers, job boards, radio ads…)
  • Use the Workday ATS (applicant tracking system) to ensure effective candidate management and data integrity
  • Screen incoming resumes and applications forms
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
  • Provide shortlist of qualified candidates to local hiring managers
  • Schedule interviews with local plant managers and or supervisors
  • Coordinate background checks and medicals.
  • Responsible for the completion of the job offer package, its approval, delivery to the candidates and answer queries about compensation and benefits, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and candidates to ensure clarity on recruitment outcomes and outstanding actions.
  • Participate in job fairs, open houses and recruiting events.
  • Lead workshops and process improvements teams.
  • Train hiring committees on recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Maintaining documentation and SOPs
  • Support and coordinate operations projects that directly or indirectly impact recruitment.
  • Leading new implementations and initiatives.
  • 20% traveling requirement across Canada to our services centers.

Qualifications

  • Education: Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources Management, Organization Psychology or relevant field.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and resume databases
  • Excellent Analytical and Interpersonal skills

Experience

  • 1-3 years work experience as HR Recruiter or similar role preferably in a production / industrial environment
  • Experience in recruitment or staffing (required)
  • Experience with full cycle recruitment
  • Experience working in unionized environment (preferred)
  • Experience with ATS system (required)
  • Experience with sourcing techniques
  • Lead small projects with proven ROI and Payback analysis

  • Communiquer efficacement avec les intervenants internes et les candidats pour assurer la clarté des résultats de recrutement et des mesures en suspens.
  • Participer aux foires de l’emploi et aux activités de recrutement à l’interne
  • Diriger des ateliers et des équipes d'amélioration des processus.
  • Former les comités d'embauche sur les processus et les procédures de recrutement.
  • Tenue à jour de la documentation et des PON
  • Soutenir et coordonner les projets d'opérations qui ont une incidence directe ou indirecte sur le recrutement.
  • Diriger de nouvelles mises en œuvre et initiatives
  • Exigences de déplacement de 20 %

Qualifications

  • Formation postsecondaire, préférablement en gestion des Ressources humaines, en psychologie organisationnelle ou dans un domaine pertinent.
  • Connaissance des systèmes de suivi des candidats et des bases de données pour les curriculums vitae
  • Excellentes compétences analytiques et interpersonnelles

Expérience

  • Expérience de travail éprouvée à un poste de recruteur des RH ou à un poste similaire, préférablement dans un environnement de production/industriel
  • Expérience avec les techniques de recherche de candidats (requis)
  • Expérience du recrutement à cycle complet
  • Expérience de travail en milieu syndiqué (de préférence)
  • Expérience avec le système ATS (obligatoire)
  • Expérience des techniques d'approvisionnement
  • Expérience de gestion de petits projets avec RCI éprouvé et analyse des retombées
