We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Application Support Analyst at KUBRA! This key role is designed to provide day-to-day support for our product applications and backend processes. The selected individual will be responsible for delivering prompt and insightful responses to verbal inquiries regarding all aspects of our services. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, possesses excellent communication skills, and is eager to contribute to delivering exceptional support and service to our clients. This is a HYBRID role located in MISSISSAUGA, ON.

What you get to do everyday!

  • Offer day to day support for all backend modules.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding different features offered by the system, detect/asses unexpected behavior or results of the system.
  • Monitor, assess and resolve system errors.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system errors.
  • Assist internal/external client inquiries regarding product platform.
  • Determine root cause analysis and incident resolution.
  • Provide client feedback according to SLA guidelines.
  • Work with external vendors on day to day support activities.
  • Perform code changes and enhancement on existing programs.
  • Work on filters when necessary.
  • Work with Implementation teams on specific developmental activities.
  • Maintain knowledge base repository and track all implementation/development activities. 
  • Work with the Product development team on any Problem Management/developmental activities.
  • Provide after-hours support.

What kind of person you should be!

  • A good communicator and team player.
  • Someone who takes ownership and is self motivated/driven. 
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of KUBRA's business model.
  • Easily demonstrate experience with Visual Basic development.

What skills do you need?

  • At least 1-3 years of development time which includes the creation of both web and desktop based solutions.
  • 1-2 of years of programming and DF implementations.
  • Education/Certification/Training required preferred: Degree in Computer Information Systems
  • Other Education/Certification/Training preferred: MCAD Certification, .Net Certification, ITIL v3 Foundation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relational database technology.
  • Extensive knowledge of Internet technologies.
  • MS-SQL query language, and imaging knowledge.
  • Ability to generate reports.
  • Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience designing and implementing information access solutions on current Windows platform using the following tools: Visual Basic, C++, SQL Server, Access, ASP, ASP.Net and JavaScript.
