Job Description
At CPP Investments, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on advisor/ leader to help our teams to sustain and mature with the product approach and agile practices. Reporting to Director, Strategy & Operating Office, Technology & Operations, the Agile Transformation Lead guides and supports our product teams and stakeholders to build product centric delivery and agile capability across the organization. The Agile Transformation Lead will play a key role in long-term strategy across the business, helping our teams deliver best products and value in faster and more efficient manner. The Agile Transformation Lead, Strategy & Operating Office is accountable for:
- Provide ongoing guidance and consulting support to product teams, aiding them to sustain Agile transformation and maturing their Agile practices and product mindset, with flexibility to make adjustments to accommodate different needs of the teams.
- Drive the agile transformation by advocating for Agile principles, continuous improvement, and value delivery throughout the organization.
- Define and measure agile maturity to drive continuous improvement of Agile practices and value delivery through adoption of industry best practices.
- Advise teams on development of long-term product planning/roadmap and backlog prioritization, ensuring a healthy backlog that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to define clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to drive value delivery.
- Set up appropriate metrics to measure and track teams' progress in Agile adoption through various methods like surveys, data analysis, interviews, etc.
- Promote the use of DevOps practices and tools to enhance software delivery.
- Define guidelines to align teams on agile practices, including best practices on tooling e.g. Jira, Jira Align
- Design and deliver meaningful training to educate teams and leadership on the Agile mindset, principles, and practices to enhance the organization's execution and innovation.
Qualifications
If you possess the following, we’d like to hear from you:
- 7+ years of years of hands-on Agile delivery and/or Agile practitioner
- Advanced knowledge of Agile principles, mindset and frameworks paired with technical acumen
- Exhibit strong flexibility and adaptability skills, thriving in environments with dynamic and evolving needs
- Expertise with organizational change management and culture change
- Experience using metrics/OKRs to measure team and organizational performance
- Understanding of product development and delivery; a technical background in web or software development will be an asset
- Hands-on experience using various agile tools, such as Jira, Jira Align
- Exemplifies our Guiding Principles of integrity, partnership and high performance
