About the Role
MASSIV Automated Systems, an advanced technology-based division of Magna International Inc., specializes in the design and build of automated/robotic assembly lines for the automotive industry. Our areas of expertise include hemming (robotic and table top), laser welding, and assembly line welding. Our customers include other divisions within Magna and the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as General Motors, Chrysler and Ford.
We are a true global supplier to the automotive industry! Our assembly lines provide a diverse range of automotive products such as doors, hoods, liftgates and underbody parts to customers in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Asia and Europe.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing sales processes, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your technical expertise will be essential in walking clients through complex processes and demonstrating the value of our automotive integration solutions.
Your Responsibilities
Position responsibilities include but not limited to the following:• Strong technical background with the ability to walk customers through complex integration processes and address technical queries. • Engage with customers to thoroughly understand their project-specific requirements, ensuring customized and effective solutions.• Develop a thorough understanding of customer engineering specifications, organizational structures, and key purchasing drivers.• Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding a sales team to develop process and estimate a solution• Present offers to customers, clearly articulating the details and value of the solution.• Develop and implement account strategies to maximize long-term sales and profitability.• Meet regularly with customers through phone calls and in-person meetings to build relationships, understand evolving needs, and provide ongoing support.• Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Provide management with detailed customer feedback and suggestions for improving sales, market share, and profit margins.
Who we are looking for
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in complex solutions sales within a related industrial field.
Education: Degree or Certification in engineering or a related discipline.
Skills:• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Strong negotiation skills, including experience with strategic selling or negotiation training.• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).• Experience with AutoCAD, NX, and Catia.• Extensive knowledge of processing and automation.• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Willingness to travel globally.• High integrity, confidence, and collaborative spirit.• Awareness of ISO 9001 standards and departmental policies and procedures.
