As a Perform Plus Account Executive you will build relationships with existing and new group benefits advisors within the small group environment of 3 to 49 employees. More specifically, you will be required to:

Foster and maintain excellent advisor and consultant relationships

Develop and implement a business plan that will assist you to meet sales, retention and net growth targets

Grow the block of business on a profitable basis

Conduct regular face-to-face meetings and promotional presentations with advisors highlighting Desjardins Insurance’s group benefits products, services and competitive advantages

Bring the voice of the advisor and client to internal partners for quotes, renewals and service-related issues
-
Represent the Desjardins brand by regularly attending and actively participating in industry conferences and events.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field
-
A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Group Benefits

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

Advanced knowledge of group insurance products and policies, underwriting principles, pricing and procedures

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
-
Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
