It makes you feel proud to help show that when a product reaches the market, it will be tested to meet safety standards for the public to use. The best thing about working at UL Solutions is the flexibility. No one has stopped me when I have had a good idea, encountered a new business opportunity, or identified a new structural opportunity. No one has ever said, “Holger, that’s not your job.” They may provide feedback and explain any challenges they foresee, but I have always been able to implement new processes and initiatives.
