Leads new product launches from concept through production start-up, coordinating cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance. Manages timelines, capital equipment procurement and commissioning, manufacturing process validation, APQP and customer deliverables, project costs, risks, capacity, and resources. Leads a portfolio of automotive product development and launch programs from RFQ through series production. Manages Program Managers, cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules, risks, quality, costs, customer communication, and profitability. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, operations, sales, and finance to achieve launch objectives. Supports RFQs and business cases, leads executive program reviews, standardizes program processes, and develops team capabilities.

Maintain, repair, refurbish, and implement production equipment and facility systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The role involves mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, CNC, welding, and machining work; maintaining equipment quality systems; supporting new or modified production machines; and meeting operational efficiency targets. Candidates need a skilled trade certificate or relevant industrial experience, at least five years maintaining CNC and automated assembly equipment, automotive systems knowledge, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Designs mechanical automation systems for robots, assembly equipment, inspection cells, production gauges, jigs, and automated lines. Responsibilities include engineering calculations, component selection, SolidWorks drawings and bills of materials, standards compliance, build and debugging support, vendor and customer communication, estimating, documentation, continuous improvement, and supervising junior designers or co-op students.

Lead design and technical execution of complex automation systems, develop concepts for assembly/inspection/packaging, perform engineering analysis, set machine architecture, lead reviews, mentor designers, interface with customers, support proposals, and assist manufacturing with troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Lead continuous improvement and root-cause problem solving across production cells. Manage cell-level quality systems (control plans, SPC, inspection records), supplier quality (PPAP, non-conformances, corrective actions), coach technicians, ensure compliance with IATF/ISO standards, and support cross-functional teams to improve product and process quality.

Lead automotive new product development and manage programs from concept to launch. Coordinate APQP/PPAP, supplier relationships, CAD reviews, validation/testing, prototypes, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting customer and quality standards.

Lead quality improvement and root cause analysis in coating/manufacturing, maintain PFMEA and control plans, implement digital quality systems, perform capability studies (Cp/Cpk/Pp/Ppk), ensure compliance to QMS and ISO/IATF standards, support audits, supplier and customer quality, and provide hands-on production troubleshooting.

Lead product and process development activities including APQP, prototype builds, validation, PFMEAs, capacity studies, and production transfers. Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, quality planning, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

Develop, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize non-destructive testing (NDT) systems across manufacturing. Evaluate inspection technologies, support equipment selection and validation, analyze inspection data to identify root causes and trends, create standardized work instructions, and drive continuous improvement alongside production and engineering teams.
