Senior backend engineer to architect and implement distributed, cloud-native backend services and public APIs that ingest and normalize high-volume IoT/sensor data. Lead design and deployment of resilient ingestion pipelines, workflow orchestration, authentication, and monitoring in AWS. Interface with enterprise clients, shape product and architecture, and drive engineering standards and automation.

Architect and build core distributed systems for high-throughput real-time and batch data ingestion, processing, and storage. Ensure fault-tolerance, scalability, and strong query performance for time-series and spatial data. Develop automated tooling for data quality and lineage, collaborate on reusable abstractions, and write production-ready code (Java/Python).

Build and run the full technical recruiting function for engineering roles: source, screen, interview design, ATS and metrics ownership, pipeline forecasting, and close senior/staff engineers with complex equity offers while partnering with CEO and CTO.

Design, implement, and maintain backend services and web applications on a Microsoft stack; build front-end features with React; write well-tested, secure code; collaborate with product and design; participate in code reviews and improve CI/CD/DevSecOps pipelines.
