A leading North American financial institution is seeking skilled Developers to design, build, test, and support technology solutions used across the organization. Developers will work in collaborative Agile teams and contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through implementation and production support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain reliable enterprise applications.
  • Analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs and working software.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
  • Develop APIs, services, integrations, and user-facing functionality as required.
  • Create unit, integration, and automated tests.
  • Troubleshoot defects and production issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, and operations teams.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support implementation activities.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with databases, APIs, version control, and automated testing.
  • Understanding of object-oriented design and software development principles.
  • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in banking, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, containers, or event-driven systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring.
  • Front-end experience with React, Angular, or comparable frameworks, where applicable.
