BAE Systems, Inc. Career Growth & Development

BAE Systems, Inc. Employee Reviews

I started my career on the manufacturing floor. If it wasn't for my teammates, my peers, my colleagues, other engineers coaching me, mentoring me, having all the support that I have at BAE Systems, I don't know if it would be possible today for me to sit here today as a software engineer.

I started on the tactical side designing antennas as an RF engineer and moved into program management, and then moved into operations management, and then moved into manufacturing and running a program there, and then moving into manufacturing leadership. I've absolutely loved how my career has taken this weaving path, and I've been able to learn more and grow along the way.

There are a lot of different programs we they offer that I've been so fortunate to take advantage of. I'm involved in a couple of mentoring programs and have also participated in our Business Leadership Institute. These programs just make you feel like there's a commitment to growth that maybe I haven't felt at other companies.
