Develop requirements, designs, prototypes, and verification procedures for hardware-in-the-loop simulation test equipment. Design electronic circuits, test stations, and control software; integrate, commission, troubleshoot, and validate systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinate manufacturing, train users, manage equipment reliability, and ensure regulatory, safety, cost, and customer requirements are met.

Lead a team of engineering technicians to provide technical support, troubleshoot mechanical systems, drive continuous improvement, implement best practices, and meet project deadlines within a controlled-goods environment.

Develop and maintain production schedules that balance customer demand, materials, labor, equipment capacity, and inventory strategies. Analyze scheduling KPIs, maintain ERP/MRP master data, optimize production sequences, and support lean manufacturing, bottleneck reduction, and root-cause analysis initiatives.

Creates and sustains electrical product designs for aerospace products in production. Resolves design, manufacturing, supplier, customer, obsolescence, testing, and field-failure issues; approves Class II changes; provides MRB dispositions; supports product transitions, cost savings, capital initiatives, and engineering estimates. The role requires collaboration with global engineering and production teams, customer and supplier communication, regulatory compliance, and mentoring junior engineers.

Supports aerospace manufacturing operations by defining and validating production processes, commissioning equipment, creating work instructions, resolving production issues, leading root-cause and corrective actions, engineering tools and fixtures, improving cycle time and waste, analyzing process capability, and supporting new product introduction, pilot builds, and production ramp-up.

Develops and improves aerospace reaction wheel assembly electrical systems. Responsibilities include understanding serial protocols, analog circuits, and programming; troubleshooting test failures with technicians; conducting root-cause analysis; improving manufacturability and production yields; and performing worst-case circuit analysis using engineering analysis tools.

Supports development and execution of test plans, procedures, and methodologies for aerospace products. Analyzes test results, identifies improvement opportunities, defines test requirements with cross-functional teams, provides technical support, and helps resolve technical issues while contributing to continuous test-process improvement.

Supports program controls by preparing metrics, analyzing performance, tracking budgets and schedules, integrating cost and schedule data, identifying risks and root causes, implementing corrective actions, and improving processes. The role maintains milestones, monitors financial data, and contributes to project and program execution in a matrix aerospace environment.

Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets. Coordinate resources and schedules, resolve delays and equipment issues, coach frontline teams, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen). Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements while collaborating with engineering, procurement, planning, maintenance, and leadership.

Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly production schedules, release and monitor work orders, coordinate with material planning and operations to balance demand, capacity, labor and inventory. Analyze capacity, identify bottlenecks, adjust schedules for disruptions, generate KPI reports, and recommend workflow and line‑balancing improvements. Majority of time spent on the lab floor ensuring schedule adherence.

Lead daily manufacturing operations for electronics/optics assemblies, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and productivity. Supervise production teams, manage staffing and line balancing, enforce IPC/NASA compliance, drive Lean/5S continuous improvement, coordinate with Quality/Engineering/Supply Chain, maintain traceability, and manage site IPC certification and training.

Lead new product development from concept through qualification and production transition. Manage schedules, budgets, risks, and cross-functional teams (electrical, software, systems, mechanical). Interface with customers and vendors, support technical reviews, drive risk/opportunity management, and assist cost estimation to deliver aerospace hardware/software solutions.

Lead development and optimization of brazing and manufacturing processes, resolve production issues, drive continuous improvement (RCCA, 5-Why, Fishbone), close quality nonconformances, analyze production data (Cp/Cpk), and collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering.

Lead and support design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of optical systems and test setups. Perform hands-on lab work, optical modeling, data analysis, and documentation. Ensure quality, safety, and continuous improvement while collaborating with engineering teams to deliver optical hardware projects.
