Leads the design, simulation, integration, testing, and manufacturing support of optical payload systems for satellite and space applications. Defines requirements, develops test plans, operates optical laboratory equipment, troubleshoots complex issues, manages technical risks, and mentors engineers. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, customers, government agencies, and partners to meet mission, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Leads advanced manufacturing engineering for aerospace operations by defining and validating production processes, commissioning equipment, creating work instructions, resolving production issues, and driving corrective actions. Engineers tools, jigs, and fixtures; analyzes process capability; leads lean and automation improvements; and supports NPI, pilot builds, and production ramp-up. Collaborates with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to improve productivity, quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

Designs and implements manufacturing assembly processes for aerospace products, leads root-cause and corrective-action investigations, resolves supplier and product issues, and improves quality, yield, throughput, cost, and capacity. The role applies DOE and statistical methods, supports manufacturability reviews, drives continuous improvement, and collaborates with design, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. This is an onsite position in Mississauga, Ontario, within a controlled goods environment.
