The Workday Grants Manager will oversee the delivery of Workday Grants Management services, supporting clients in configuration, optimization, and compliance, while resolving issues and ensuring high-quality service.

Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in roles directly implementing or supporting Workday Grants Management, with hands‑on ownership of Grants configuration in a production or post‑production (AMS) environment.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a functional subject matter expert for Workday Grants, including award setup, post‑award management, grants billing, and financial and regulatory reporting.
- 3–5 years of experience analyzing business requirements, producing functional specifications, supporting testing activities, troubleshooting complex production issues, and interfacing directly with clients and business stakeholders.
- Strong ability to translate research administration and sponsor requirements into scalable, compliant Workday Grants solutions.
- Experience supporting ongoing optimization, enhancements, and issue resolution within Workday Grants as part of an Application Managed Services (AMS) or managed support model.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent relevant work experience.
- No travel required, unless requested by the client.
- Holds an active Workday Certification, with Workday Financials or Workday Grants certification strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting Workday Grants in AMS / PPS / Managed Services environments, including Tier 3 client support.
- Hands‑on experience with Workday Grants billing processes, sponsor invoicing, revenue recognition, and compliance‑driven reporting.
- Experience supporting medium to large‑scale Workday Financials and Grants environments, including cross‑module dependencies with Projects, Procurement, Expenses, Payroll, and Financial Accounting.
- Experience with Accounts and Payroll Accounting, including understanding of downstream impacts to grants billing, costing, and reconciliation.
- Strong experience with Workday reporting, including delivered and custom reports used for grants oversight, billing, and audit support.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, including reconciliation, variance analysis, and support of billing and reporting activities.
- Prior team leadership or mentoring experience, including reviewing work, coaching team members, and supporting knowledge transfer within an AMS model.
The estimated base salary range for this job is $135,000 - $165,000 (USD). The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $162,000 - $198,000 (USD). The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
