Rodan Energy Solutions
North America
The Opportunity
Rodan Energy is one of North America's fastest-growing energy services companies focused on Making Sustainable, Attainable™, and we're entering our most ambitious chapter yet. We're looking for a senior HR leader who builds, scales, and leads, and who treats people strategy as a core driver of company performance.
Reporting to the CEO and partnering with the executive team, the Vice President, Human Resources will own Rodan's people mandate end-to-end. Two priorities will define success in this role above everything else: acquiring A-player talent across North America, and developing the people and leaders who will carry Rodan into its next decade.
What You Will Be Responsible For
The two strategic priorities that will define this role:

  • Talent acquisition across North America (and beyond). Build the talent acquisition engine that consistently lands A-players at every level, from the front line to the executive bench. Sharpen the employer brand, raise the interview bar, develop deep talent maps for our space, and personally close key hires across Canada and the US, with international markets next.
  • Training, development, and leadership growth. Design and run learning programs that make every Rodan employee an expert in the energy industry, what Rodan does within it, and how their role drives the business.
Alongside those two priorities, the role owns the full scope of corporate HR for a multi-entity North American business:
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to align people strategy with growth priorities, and lead workforce planning and organizational design to support near- and long-term scale.
  • Lead and develop the HR & talent acquisition team across the full scope of People Operations across Canadian and US entities: performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Build scalable people programs that drive performance, retention, succession, internal mobility, and culture as Rodan continues to grow.
  • Own and evolve Rodan's HR technology stack (BambooHR, JazzHR, Pave, Juicebox, Microsoft 365) and drive practical adoption of AI and automation across HR processes.
  • Use people data and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement, and manage external partners including legal counsel, benefits providers, learning vendors, and advisors.
The Background We Are Looking For
  • Senior HR leadership experience in a growing, complex organization, ideally one that has scaled across multiple geographies.
  • A proven track record building or rebuilding talent acquisition functions that consistently land top-tier talent.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and running leadership and  development programs that produced measurable improvements in capability and performance.
  • Strong capability across workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
  • Experience as a true data driven business partner to senior executives.
  • Experience in AI-driven HR operations.
  • A builder's mindset with strong judgment, business acumen, and the ability to operate hands-on in a fast-scaling environment.

Rodan Benefits Include:

  • Competitive salary, bonus and profit share

  • Benefits package

  • RRSP Match
