Vice President of Human Resources  (Remote - Canada)

About Multiview

Multiview is The Healthcare ERP Company.  Purpose-built for healthcare finance teams, Multiview delivers a powerful, scalable, and cost-effective ERP that unites financials, supply chain management, reporting, and analytics in a single platform. Backed by deep expertise in healthcare finance and recognized by KLAS Research as the #1 ERP for healthcare organizations under 300 beds, Multiview helps mid-sized healthcare organizations gain clarity, move faster, make better decisions, and stay focused on care.

We are a values-led organization:

People First. Client Obsessed. Stronger Together. Work Smart. Believe in Better.

The Opportunity

Multiview is seeking a Vice-President of Human Resources to lead our HR organization as we scale.  Reporting directly to CEO Mike Johnson, the VP of HR will join the senior leadership team at a pivotal moment in our evolution, helping to drive and build an environment where great people do great work, leaders lead well, and high performance is both supporter and expected.

We are a proud award-winning employer and intend to continue to improve the company as a place to work so that we can be worthy of the incredible talent we have.

This is a business leadership role first and a people leadership role second — someone who leads with business outcomes, builds high performance systems, and then intentionally aligns people, culture, and capability to deliver results.

This role is not suited for someone who prefers delegation or high-level oversight alone.  The VP of HR must be eager to roll up their sleeves, dive into day-to-day HR activities, and personally influence the employee experience across the company.

We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

If you bring strong HR leadership, a passion for people, and a willingness to work directly at both strategic and tactical levels, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for:

  • Driving organizational performance through people strategy, talent systems, and leadership effectiveness
  • Embedding a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring people practices actively enable Multiview’s business strategy, not simply support it

This leader will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure that strategy, structure, talent, and culture are fully aligned.

You will also lead and deliver strategies in:

Executive & Business Leadership

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and the leadership team, using data and insight to drive better business outcomes.
  • Support the translation of business strategy into clear people priorities, capability requirements, and workforce plans.
  • Help leaders across the organization strengthen performance, decision making, and accountability within their teams.

High Performance Culture

  • Lead the intentional design and rollout of a high performance operating culture, including:
  • Clear role expectations and ownership
  • Performance standards aligned to business outcomes
  • Supporting leaders on providing candid, growth oriented feedback
  • Strong leadership capability at all levels
  • Ensure performance management systems are meaningful, consistent, and tied directly to business impact.

People Strategy & Execution

  • Own and continuously evolve Multiview’s people strategy, ensuring alignment with annual operating plans and long term growth plans.
  • Balance HR’s role as a compliance function with its responsibility as a performance enabling business partner.
  • Regularly assess the impact of people initiatives and adjust based on results, feedback, and business needs.

Talent & Capability

Develop and execute strategies across:

  • Talent acquisition: Owns the talent acquisition process that includes hiring leaders and individual contributors who raise the bar and strengthen culture.
  • Learning & development: Building leadership capability, succession strength, and career progression paths.
  • Rewards & incentives: Designing compensation and reward systems that reinforce performance, accountability, and retention of top talent, while maintaining pay equity legislation and principles across the organization.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Human Resources team to operate as trusted business partners.
  • Build a function that models high performance, continuous learning, and execution excellence and is looked at as a trusted resource by all departments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the leader within HR and a leader across the organization, you will be a model of our People First philosophy.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Think like a business leader and act like a people leader.
  • Be comfortable challenging assumptions, influencing outcomes, and raising standards.
  • Have experience leading the HR / People function during growth or change.
  • Have experience helping a company scale from roughly 200 to 400+ employees (or similar complexity)
  • Be deeply credible with executives while remaining approachable and trusted across the company.
  • Understand both Canadian and US employment environments (hands on experience preferred).
  • Bring a drive for action, clarity, and measurable impact.

SOFT SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent experience/certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of HR experience, including 5+ years leading HR in a growing organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian provincial employment legislation; US employment knowledge is an asset.
  • Exceptional communication skills across diverse groups.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience representing an organization internally and externally in alignment with values and culture.
  • Demonstrated success building HR teams and fostering cultures of development and progression.
  • Experience with HRIS tools and implementing relevant new technologies.
  • Highest standards of discretion, confidentiality and ethical conduct.

We recognize that experience comes in many forms. If your background is close to what we are seeking, we encourage you to apply.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Highly collaborative, cross-functional work.
  • Regular collaboration with CEO, senior leadership and all people leaders
  • Remote-first work environment
