Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. 

As a core member of our Fund Accounting – Hedge Funds team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon

Your Role: 

• You will provide training and supervision to Managers and Supervisors on your team.
• Ensure that all client deliverables are met by your team; ensure delivery in an accurate and timely manner
• Partner with the Senior Vice President, act as primary contact with clients: investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers, auditors and other fund participants (portfolio managers and fund managers)
• Develop, manage and maintain targets concerning staffing: operational deliverables, overtime budgeting and productivity
• Ensure all staff are appropriately trained and conduct performance evaluations
• Meet expectations of fund participants; adhere to deadlines
• Collaborate with auditors, fund participants and advisers to manage their queries and concerns, ensuring that relevant information is provided appropriately
• Leverage existing client relationship to secure new business, offer our products and services in partnership with the Senior Vice President and Executive Management team, facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients
• Participate in and lead projects that may be defined from time to time in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business
• Continuously review and remove non-standard and inefficient processes
• Ensure company initiatives are executed; ensure team alignment

About You:

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation.
• 6-7 years’ experience in Financial Services, specifically with proven financial markets and hedge fund accounting accomplishments
• 2 years’ experience with managing a team, building and retaining organizational talent 
• Superior client relationship management while demonstrating business and commercial acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills to generate new client relationships and build networks
• Strategic thinker to make operational decisions and to navigate complexity
• Analytical mindset to assess quality and risks
• Motivation to drive for result

Salary Range : CAD $115,000 - $155,000
