About the Team & Business Line: 

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. 

As a core member of our Fund Accounting – Hedge Funds team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon

Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • You will maintain and enhance client relationships by monitoring and developing client service level agreements providing a full service/product offering.
  • Leverage existing client relationship to secure new business, offering our products and services
  • In partnership with the Vice President and Executive Management team, facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Liaise internally with key functional teams to ensure awareness by all of key client requirements
  • Visit clients regularly to evaluate service quality and identify client priorities
  • In partnership with the Vice Presidents, oversee the resolution of complex client issues
  • Ensure strong emphasis on escalation and complaints management within the team and within the department
  • Manage, train and coach assigned Vice Presidents in the successful running of their teams
  • Review departmental procedures and policies and supervise Vice Presidents to ensure adherence to these procedures
  • Lead and initiate client conference calls
  • Liaise with clients regarding reporting requirements and deadlines; ensure delivery in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure continuous risk assessment of current and potential new funds under administration
  • Identify issues/concerns and recommend company-wide solutions for any/all high risk projects
  • Manage and oversee staffing requirements
  • Ensure fluid execution and strategy for work forecasting and allocation
  • Actively manage operational risk – monthly reporting on status reports and key development issues to external clients and executive management team
  • Actively participate in departmental and company-wide projects
Qualifications

About You:

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably with exposure to Product Control, Operations or Fund Accounting
  • Knowledge of private equity and hybrid fund structures would be an asset
  • 5-7 years’ experience managing a team, building and retaining organizational talent and leading organization and resource management activities
  • Superior client relationship management while demonstrating business and commercial acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to generate new client relationships and build networks
  • Strategic thinker to make operational decisions and to navigate complexity
  • Analytical mindset to assess quality and risks
  • Motivation to drive for result

Salary Range: CAD $130,000 - $180,000
