Job Description

The Vice President, Enterprise Platforms leads enterprise architecture, client solutioning, and pre-sales strategy for pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations. This role bridges sales opportunity ownership with hands-on technical leadership, shaping complex omnichannel ecosystems that drive measurable business impact. The position partners closely with Sales, Strategy, Medical, Media, and Delivery teams to position technology as a differentiator in multi-million-dollar pursuits while establishing scalable architecture standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead enterprise pre-sales strategy, pipeline forecasting, and opportunity management for multi-million-dollar pharmaceutical platform engagements in collaboration with Sales and Account teams.
  • Facilitate executive discovery workshops and roadmap sessions with senior pharma stakeholders to define CRM, marketing automation, and data architecture strategies.
  • Design end-to-end omnichannel architectures spanning Salesforce, Veeva, Adobe, Marketo, SFMC, Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, CDPs, APIs, and integration layers.
  • Produce architecture diagrams, interaction models, data flows, solution specifications, pricing estimates, and SOW documentation aligned to client and delivery requirements.
  • Establish governance frameworks, architecture standards, and AI-enabled solution patterns while guiding steering committees and mentoring internal architecture teams.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences technology, consulting, or enterprise sales operations with demonstrated ownership of complex client engagements.
  • 5+ years of hands-on enterprise architecture or solution design experience, including documented architecture diagrams, data models, and technical specifications.
  • Proven experience leading pre-sales efforts and managing pipeline for multi-million-dollar opportunities, including forecasting and proposal development.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva, Adobe Experience Cloud, Marketo, SFMC, Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting technical strategies and architecture roadmaps to senior client stakeholders and executive steering committees.

Desired:

  • Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI as a regular part of how work gets done.
  • Experience applying AI/ML solutions such as next-best-action, personalization models, predictive analytics, or generative AI for content modularization and insight automation.
  • Formal training or certification in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SAFe, or equivalent enterprise methodologies.
  • Experience establishing architecture governance processes and reference models within regulated industries.
