The Opportunity:


We are happy to announce the opening of our new office space in Toronto! Not only will this space accommodate our expanding TO team, but it will also serve as a dynamic venue for businesses to host a variety of events. To bring this vision to life, we’re seeking a Venue Sales Manager to spearhead client acquisition, optimize event operations, and deliver unforgettable experiences for our clients. This dynamic role combines sales, event planning, office management, and customer service, offering a unique opportunity to grow with us as we establish our venue as a go-to destination for private and corporate events in Toronto.

Responsibilities:

Actively build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, securing bookings for private and corporate events such as conferences, cocktail receptions, and milestone celebrations.

Conduct engaging venue tours and meetings, showcasing the space’s features to inspire client interest and bookings.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event terms to maximize revenue while delivering exceptional value to clients.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.

Oversee event planning and execution, coordinating with clients, vendors, and event staff to ensure seamless operations.

Manage day-of-event logistics, troubleshoot any issues on-site, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Lead marketing initiatives to promote the venue, leveraging platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and industry networks.

Conduct market research to stay informed on local trends, competitors, and client needs, identifying opportunities for growth.

Monitor event budgets, analyze profitability, and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue.

Track and report on key performance metrics, including bookings, revenue, and client retention, to senior leadership.

Identify opportunities for upselling services and add-ons, driving additional value for clients and revenue growth.

Ensure the venue is always clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

Hire, schedule, and coordinate event staff, cleaning crews, and outside vendors as needed.


Qualifications:

3-6 years of experience from the following industries: venue sales, event planning, rental property management or real estate.

Proven success in prospecting clients, negotiating contracts, and consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to network, connect, and leave a lasting impression.

Strong understanding of budgeting, cost analysis, and revenue optimization with an innovative approach to maximizing profitability.

Familiarity with event permitting, vendor coordination, and operational logistics, with the resourcefulness to problem-solve on the go.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple events, clients, and deadlines seamlessly.

A relentless go-getter with grit and determination to secure bookings, drive revenue, and build lasting client relationships.

A creative thinker who is always on the lookout for new opportunities to grow the business and enhance the client experience.

Deep knowledge of the Toronto events market and a passion for staying connected to industry trends and competitors.
