Northbridge Insurance Underwriting Directors work hard to provide strategic growth within their departments as well as coach and mentor their teams within the Commercial Retail,  Passenger Transportation,  Healthcare, Senior Care and Social Services sectors. They are people centric leaders who truly care about the development of their teams and invest in their career growth. The Director you would be responsible for directing all activities ensuring that the unit is operating at maximum efficiency, productivity, and profitability to achieve all corporate and regional goals, objectives, and service levels are being met and maintained.

Our Underwriting Directors are experts in their field and able to monitor trends and development in the industry, guiding their portfolio in a positive way. As the Director for the commercial lines, mid-market department, you would be responsible for all activities ensuring that the unit is operating at maximum efficiency, productivity and profitability to achieve all corporate and regional goals.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

  • Strategic and management planning

  • Overseeing all corporate and regional underwriting objectives

  • Sales and negotiations

  • Developing and mentoring staff

  • Process improvement

If you have:

  • 10 years of Underwriting experience

  • 5+ years experience in a leadership role

  • Strategic leadership style

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $180,000, which reflects the expected base pay for the position. The actual base salary offered may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the role. We’re also open to candidates at different levels, so if this range doesn’t quite match your expectations, we still encourage you to apply.
