Position Summary

Treasury Shared Services team in Chelmsford has responsibility for Teledyne’s UK activities together with other jurisdictions across EMEA, APAC, US and Canada for the DALSA/e2v Business Units.

Treasury are responsible for managing the liquidity of over 50 bank accounts across various currencies along with balance sheet currency hedging, intercompany loan interest, payments and bank reconciliations including posting cash and bank administration.

Fast paced environment requires efficiency and strong organization skills, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and an ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to ad-hoc challenges.

This is a new role due to internal re-organization and will suit a candidate with an accounting background and previous Treasury experience to assist with the implementation and alignment of processes.

This role is office based in Waterloo with a minimum of four days a week on site.

Position Responsibilities

  • Posting cash across numerous entities in various currencies and completing associated bank reconciliations.

  • Preparing and coordinating payments (on line banking systems), managing liquidity.

  • Management of mailbox and ad-hoc query resolution

  • Period end activities e.g. bank reconciliations, review and clearance of control accounts etc.

  • On line banking systems administration and bank administration e.g. bank mandates.

  • Assist Treasury Manager to align and implement Shared Services processes.

  • Ad-hoc project work/process and system enhancements.

  • Audit queries

Position Requirements:

  • University/College diploma in accounting or qualified by experience

  • Strong Excel skills and MS Office skills

  • ERP systems experience, ideally Oracle and SAP

  • Experience of on line banking systems would be advantageous
