As a Transitions Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for Advisors during onboarding, transitions, and business transformations.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Transitions Specialist, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Follow established Transition Team workflows for: New Advisor Onboarding, Sales of Book, Platform Migrations, Advisor retirements or departures, and new 30/90‑day licensing.

  • Act as the administrator for the advisor group benefits plan, ensuring timely onboarding, changes, and offboarding, while liaising with our benefits partner and internal Remuneration team.

  • Monitor, provide coverage, and troubleshoot incoming calls and inquiries from the Transitions inbox and telephone line.

  • Collaborate with the Director, Business Transitions & Support to deliver preliminary and ongoing operational training to Advisors.

  • Visit branch locations to provide support on IAPW paperwork and systems.

  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of internal departmental functions, processes, and workflows.

  • Work closely with Branch Managers and Regional Vice‑Presidents to understand the unique needs of each Advisor.

  • Provide timely updates on transition progress to Senior Management.

  • Ensure Transition Team SLAs and communication standards are consistently met.

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, generating ideas, and upholding a high level of customer service.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally in a client‑ or advisor‑service capacity

  • Is known for their exceptional customer service and communication skills.

  • Stands out for their strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks, aggressive deadlines, and shifting priorities.

  • Is recognized for excellent interpersonal skills and solid collaboration with internal and external partners.

  • Possesses strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Has strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Is eager to learn about the Financial & Investment Services industry.

  • Brings a positive, “no challenge too big” attitude.

  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset for this role.

  • Experience with NBIN systems, group benefits administration, or enrollment/completion of the CSC or CPH is considered an asset.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 60 000$ and 70 000CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role.
