Job Description:

What will you work on?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Trade Spend and Deductions, the Trade Spend and Deduction Analyst will be a key member of the Trade Spend and Deductions Management team
How will you create impact?

  • Review and maintain the Accounts Receivable subledger for assigned customers
  • Process/reconcile customer trade spend and deductions in SAP, High Radius and Salesforce
  • Work collaboratively with the Sales teams to ensure proper supporting documentation is provided to process trade spend and deductions in SAP
  • Process credit notes in multiple subsidiaries associated with trade spend
  • Investigate deductions in the subledger and ensure timely resolution and clearing thereof
  • Run/analyze SAP reports to ensure the trade spend deductions are attributed to the appropriate subsidiaries, brands, etc.
  • Partner closely with the Credit and Collections team to verify that deductions on the accounts receivable subledger are correctly reflected
  • Process intercompany transactions as needed
  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies and outstanding items
  • Follow-up/resolve all invalid deductions and credit balances per established timelines
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review
  • Support quarterly and annual internal and external audit requests
  • Prepare and update process documentation, desk procedures related to Trade Spend and Deductions and identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in system enhancements and user acceptance testing

What are your skills and experience?

  • Experience in a public company setting, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry.
  • Accounts Receivable and deductions resolution experience is an asset.
  • Experience with SAP is mandatory.
  • Experience with HighRadius is an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset.
  • Strong computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office and advanced level Excel skill (pivots, v-lookups, and advanced formulas)
