Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple divisional leads within each group and support complex divisions to ensure timely project completion.
- Collaborate with various leads (Data, Dayforce WFM, Testing, Organizational Change Management-OCM) to support project execution and identify risks, ensuring continuity across streams.
- Oversee requirements, discovery and design activities, lead workshops, and work with Magna and Ernst & Young functional teams on configuration Workbooks.
- Manage and reconcile data in both legacy payroll systems and Workday, including extracting legacy pay results for pay parallel.
- Provide documentation and clarification to divisional leads, and distribute templates in collaboration with the Magna and Ernst & Young functional team.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion, validation, and sign-off of requirements for configuration workbooks for each division.
- Serve as the first point of contact for divisional WFM/payroll leads, manage change requests, and harmonize payroll calendars.
- Coordinate testing activities, ensure training and readiness of divisional resources, and manage data in Workday, including reconciliation and extraction for payroll processes.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in payroll and financial software, system integration, configuration, and maintaining accurate data in Workday.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract legacy pay results for pay parallel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Certified Payroll Professional (APA) and Payroll Compliance Practitioner (NPI) certifications preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with global corporations in payroll consulting and operations, including extensive experience with Workday and Ceridian Dayforce.
- Expertise in payroll processing, compliance, audit procedures, scheduling, labor management, legislative compliance, and managing cross-functional teams and external consultants.
- Proficiency in scheduling, labor management, and legislative compliance for payroll.
