Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Laser Cutter Operator, Monday to Friday from 7am-3:30pm. In this role, you will be responsible for operating torch equipment to cut and trim various materials.

What you're responsible for:

  • Operate laser cutting machines to cut metal materials according to specifications and work orders.
  • Measure, mark, and verify materials before cutting or bending to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform machine setup, adjustments, and minor maintenance to maintain optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing policies.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production progress or issues.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have previous experience in metalworking, welding, fabrication, or a related field is preferred but not required
  • You have a basic understanding of plasma cutter equipment operation and safety procedures
  • You show strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work
  • Have you good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • You have the ability to stand and bend for long periods of time and lift objects as required
  • You are comfortable working outdoors and being exposed to all the elements
