As a member of the Test Department, you will be part of the manufacturing group that tests our products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Automated Test setups for validating the latest film, television, and telecommunications equipment, including router, fiber transmission, multi-viewer and SDVN technologies
- Develop and Modify code in LabVIEW and Python languages to automate the testing process
- Conduct or oversee the installation and operation of electronic equipment and systems designed to automate the testing of the products
- Provide training to team members within or external of the test department
- Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes of the electronic or electrical problems
- Review the malfunction of the returned devices, troubleshoot, and do basic repair for the final shipment
- Compliance with all Evertz Policies and Procedures
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to you from time to time, as determined by the Company
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in electronic or computer engineering, networking
- Experience in a related field is an asset
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++ preferred)
- Knowledge of one or more of the following scripting languages: Labview, Python
- Network router/switch experience desirable
