As a Test Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace , you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define test requirements, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and product performance.
You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the success of Honeywell’s aerospace engineering projects by maintaining qualification lab, setup and execute tests and creating qualification data.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain Qualification Lab and equipment to support Product Group
Setup and Execute EMI, PQ & Environmental Development and Qualification Tests
Create Qualification Data Packages to support Test Reports
Participate in Test Build Design including procurement & working with vendors.
Test Build Verification and Validation
Maintain new lab processes
Support multi-skilling/training of others
Support test estimates and scheduling.
QualificationsQualifications for Internal Candidates
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Minimum 3 years of work experience in qualification testing (environmental, EMI/EMC, qualification)
WE VALUE:
Experience with Test Software, Procedure and Report writing.
Test Equipment Experience with EMI Receivers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Amplifiers, Signal generators, antennas, and oscilloscopes.
Knowledge of RTCA DO-160, ABD0100.1.2, ABD0100.1.8.1, D6-16050-4 & MIL-STD-461 would be an asset.
Working experience of EMI, Environmental and Power Quality Test.
The annual base salary for this position starts at $85,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
