In this role, you’ll test and validate hardware/software for real-world applications, collaborate with talented designers to solve complex functionality challenges, and leverage cutting-edge AI tools to push the boundaries of quality assurance. You’ll write reusable automation code, manage QA test suites, and ensure releases meet the highest customer standards.  Responsibilities: 
  • Test and validate hardware/software to ensure functionality for specific applications.
  • Collaborate with R&D Designers to solve problems in relation to product functionality.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of test documentation.
  • Using latest AI Agent to test audio and video broadcast equipment.  
  • Able to write reusable Testing Code for Test Automation.
  • Prepare and monitor the QA test suite.
  • QA test releases from development to meet customer standards and specifications
  • Interact with development to test bug fixes
  • Perform overall quality control of QA work (Peer reviews).
  • Work with test automation engineers to build our automation suite
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers
  • Write reports and bug tickets to a high standard
  • Other tasks as needed by the Markham R&D Team
Qualifications
  • Degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering/Technology related to Software, Computer, or Networking is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Networking Concepts, VBA, Python, Scripting,  the Linux operating system, and Containerization.
  • Knowledge of Version control, such as GIT or SVN.
  • Knowledge of GIT LAB and CI/CD processes
  • Experience in troubleshooting is an advantage.
  • Experience as a QA Engineer is a plus.
  • You have a passion for learning new technology software and hardware.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creative and passionate in testing.
  • Positive attitude, ability to work Test Automation Engineer independently, be self-guided, and take initiative.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, time management and interpersonal skills.
