SDET required for SFCM Toronto squad to align with Global Engineering best practice

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Core Java/Java, and Cucumber

  • Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), preferably with experience in the BFSI domain

  • Deep knowledge in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts

  • Analyze requirements to identify all necessary functional and non-functional testing within established timelines

  • Design and execute tests using approved automation, functional, and performance testing tools, in alignment with the overall test strategy

  • Ensure the product meets the minimum quality standards, is fully functional and user-friendly

  • Apply all relevant quality assurance protocols, processes, and procedures comprehensively

  • Strictly adhere to specified functional requirements and established quality assurance standards

  • Handle troubleshooting and effectively resolve any quality assurance-related issues or defects

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL/Database management and JMeter

  • Experience and knowledge in services/API testing as well as UI testing

  • Conduct performance, functional, and regression testing, including root cause analysis

Education

  • Bachelors’ Degree

Experience

  • 3-7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience on writing code in any preferred language & debug code for analysis

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and automation tools
