Job Description:

Job Summary
CROWN Metal Packaging Canada LP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Office Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our Canadian operations. This role will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the office environment, assisting various departments with daily tasks and special projects.
Job Responsibilities:

Support until October 31st, 2026.

  • Perform general administrative duties, including fulfilling Verifications on Employment and Permanent Residency letters.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic personnel filing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of documents.
  • Assist with data entry, report generation, and presentation preparation as required.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and appointments for staff.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries, including mail and packages.
  • Support human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and assisting with recruitment activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing professional and courteous assistance.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher in administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience (1+ years) in an administrative or office support role, preferably within a manufacturing or corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl  
  • The associate may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus
Working Conditions:
  • Generally works in a plant environment but will be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic  
  • The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures
  • The noise level is frequently loud
