JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Manager is responsible for the development and growth of business in their territory through the development of relationships with Insurance Brokers. Account Managers are key in building strong customer relationships and are responsible for successfully managing and growing those relationships. The Account Manager must possess strong customer service skills, superior communication and negotiation skills and strong attention to detail to ensure accurate financing documentation. This role collaborates frequently across teams to ensure that we are providing legendary service to our Brokers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for quoting, renewal and new business follow ups.
  • Liaise with regional Director of Sales or VP of Sales.
  • Ensure all aspects of customer relationships receive ongoing attention to grow and elevate the Broker experience.
  • Assist in the effective operations for the processing of customer finance arrangements.
  • Train brokers in the systems and use of financing.
  • Handle escalations and complex Brokers
  • Occasional travel within the territory will be required.
  • All candidate screening and assessments are conducted by our team—AI is not used in the interview process.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Preferably 3+ years of insurance experience.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes while maintaining ongoing accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills to help resolve broker complaints or needs.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing broker data.
  • Advanced motivational and negotiation skills.
  • Strong time management & organization skills are essential.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.
  • Exceptional customer service and contact management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, highly motivated, ability to work independently in a team environment.
  • Outgoing, confident personality, comfortable in dealing with clients and other employees.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English and Québécois French is a must.

Office: Located In Toronto

This is a temporary Contract position approximately 6 months. The target salary for this role is $59,000 - $79,000.
