The Technology Lead Business Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high volume applications in partnership with business partners and stakeholders
  • Develops and recommends solutions that conform to enterprise standards.
  • Supports the Operations/business/clients in evaluating and articulating the benefits of a solution to senior stakeholders across the region.
  • Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions).
  • Oversee development scope, metrics as per project quality standards.
  • Understanding technology industry trends, how they impact our future solutions and provide strategic direction for the development community.
  • Serve as a SPOC on assigned Projects for stakeholders in business, operations, and technology divisions across upstream and downstream Organizations.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and functions within own area and good knowledge of Finance and Risk areas to resolve issues
  • Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across Business, Operations and Partners functions.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Data Office, Data Governance Leads, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Vendors, Global Functions, other key stakeholders to deliver Enterprise and regulatory Book of Work

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
  • Strong background in financial domain
  • Strong SQL knowledge required (able to query data, analyze and troubleshooting)
  • Strong Data analysis and Mapping skill
  • Strong in Oracle and Big Data tools (python and spark)
  • Data Oriented with an excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in Data Management
  • Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, systems development lifecycle
  • Strong analytical skills and writing skills, to include solid experience in writing functional and technical specifications
  • Must possess good communication skills with the ability to be assertive

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
