We are seeking a Technical Writer who can create clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation for both customer and internal audiences. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, subject matter experts, and engineering to produce content that improves product adoption, usability, and customer success.

This role is ideal for someone who can independently manage documentation initiatives, quickly learn technical concepts, and translate complex information into content that is easy to understand and maintain.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and maintain customer-facing and internal documentation, including knowledge base articles, release notes, and API documentation.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, product managers, and developers to gather technical information and convert it into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content.
  • Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining content quality.
  • Maintain and update existing documentation so that content remains accurate, consistent, and aligned with product updates.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in technical writing or a related documentation role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience. A technical background is a plus.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a focus on clarity, usability, and consistency.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and prioritize work across multiple initiatives.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies, systems, concepts, and workflows quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with grocery, retail, or warehousing technology solutions.
  • Experience documenting SaaS platforms, web-based applications, or APIs.

Tools:

Experience with the following tools or similar platforms:

  • Zendesk or Helpjuice knowledge base platforms
  • Confluence and Jira for collaboration with product and engineering teams
  • Snagit for image capture
  • AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT for content development

Compensation will range from $80,000- $110,000k/year
