We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our cloud computing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Support and administer cloud-based platforms and services, assisting with user access, configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operational activities.
  • Troubleshoot issues across end-user environments, servers, networks, SaaS applications, and cloud platforms, escalating complex issues to senior IT or cloud teams when required.
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of Windows-based systems, servers, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Monitor system and cloud platform performance, availability, and alerts; investigate issues and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and connectivity.
  • Work closely with senior systems, infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to investigate and resolve more complex technical issues.
  • Assist with system maintenance, patching, upgrades, deployments, and other infrastructure-related activities.
  • Contribute to the rollout and deployment of new IT and cloud-based solutions, including user onboarding and technical support.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, IT support, systems administration, infrastructure support, or a similar role.
  • Relevant IT diploma/degree or equivalent hands-on experience; cloud, Microsoft, networking, or systems administration certifications are an asset.
  • Working knowledge of system administration concepts, including user accounts, permissions, access management, software installation, patching, and system maintenance.
  • Practical understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is an asset.
  • Experience with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) is an asset.
