Who you are:
You are a technically grounded Product Manager who thrives in complex platform environments. Diving deep into system workflows, APIs, domain lifecycle states, configuration models and operational edge cases is energizing. Technical detail is not avoided; it is actively sought out.
You believe that clarity drives quality. You write thorough, structured documentation. You decompose complex initiatives into well-defined epics and actionable stories. Engineering teams appreciate your precision.
Confidence in front of customers and partners comes naturally. Technical functionality can be clearly explained, challenging questions addressed and trust built through preparation and expertise.
Registry or DNS experience is considered an asset, but more importantly, you bring strong intellectual curiosity and the confidence to quickly master complex systems.
What you’ll do:
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape roadmap initiatives to ensure the Hello Registry Platform continues to evolve with rigor and clarity
- Translate business and customer needs into deeply detailed functional requirements
- Break down complex features into clear, development-ready user stories
- Define acceptance criteria, edge cases, and system impacts
- Maintain high-quality, structured product documentation
- Develop subject matter expertise in registry operations and lifecycle management
- Review technical designs to ensure alignment with requirements
- Ensure backlog readiness and clarity prior to sprint planning
- Identify system dependencies and operational implications early
- Support onboarding and launch activities for new TLDs
- Act as a functional and configuration authority for customers
- Lead structured demonstrations and product walkthroughs
- Provide informed responses to technical and operational inquiries
- Advocate for intuitive workflows and thoughtful UX
- Identify friction in internal and external processes
- Recommend platform enhancements grounded in real-world usage
What you bring:
- 7+ years of experience in product management, technical product ownership, or senior business analysis within complex software environments
- Demonstrated experience writing detailed functional requirements for engineering teams
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data models, and system architecture concepts
- Experience operating in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to balance customer engagement with technical depth
- Comfort operating as a subject matter expert in specialized systems
- Experience in domain registry, DNS, EPP, or internet infrastructure is considered an asset
- UX or workflow design experience is considered an asset
- Experience working with global customers or distributed teams is considered an asset
