At Capco, we're looking for a technically accomplished Technical Delivery Lead with deep Wealth & Asset Management expertise and a strong background in solution architecture, software engineering and complex technology transformation.

This is a role for someone who understands how technology works beneath the surface—someone who may have started their career in engineering or solution architecture and progressed into leading the technical delivery of large-scale, complex platforms.

You'll combine hands-on architectural expertise with end-to-end technical delivery ownership, working across the Wealth & Asset Management value chain, including investment product manufacturing, portfolio management, investment operations, distribution, and front-office/advisor platforms.

Partnering with CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects and engineering teams, you'll shape technical solutions, challenge design decisions, resolve complex integration challenges and guide the delivery of scalable, resilient and modern technology ecosystems.

This is not a traditional project management role. We're looking for someone who can lead technical conversations, make informed architectural decisions, guide engineering teams and remain accountable for the technical integrity and successful delivery of complex solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end technical delivery of complex Wealth & Asset Management platforms, providing architectural direction and engineering leadership from solution design through implementation, integration and production readiness.

  • Shape and challenge solution architecture, applying cloud-native design, microservices, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture and API-led integration to build scalable, resilient and maintainable technology solutions.

  • Lead technical design and engineering decisions, working closely with solution architects, developers, platform engineers and technology vendors to resolve complex dependencies, integration challenges and performance bottlenecks.

  • Drive modernization across the Wealth value chain, including portfolio management, investment operations, custodial integrations, distribution platforms and advisor technologies, ensuring solutions align with business capabilities and enterprise architecture.

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to CIOs and CTOs, translating technology strategy into executable solutions, evaluating architectural trade-offs and driving engineering quality, system performance, reliability and measurable business outcomes.

What We're Looking For
  • Extensive technical experience in Wealth & Asset Management, ideally gained through a career spanning software engineering, solution architecture, technical architecture and technical delivery leadership, with exposure to multiple areas of the wealth technology ecosystem.

  • Strong solution architecture and engineering expertise, with the ability to design, review and challenge complex architectures involving distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven integration, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and modern data ecosystems.

  • Proven ownership of complex technical delivery, including leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, making critical technology decisions, resolving architectural and integration challenges, and taking solutions successfully into production.

  • Deep understanding of Wealth & Asset Management platforms and workflows, including portfolio management, investment operations, trade processing, custody, performance reporting, distribution and advisor-facing technologies, with experience integrating enterprise platforms and third-party providers.

  • Credibility with senior technology stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs and enterprise architects, combined with the ability to engage directly with engineers, challenge technical approaches and balance architectural integrity, delivery feasibility, security and operational resilience.

Bonus Points For
  • Experience with leading Wealth & Asset Management platforms, investment management, custody and portfolio technology solutions.

  • Experience modernizing legacy wealth platforms through cloud migration, platform re-architecture, API enablement, event streaming and enterprise integration.

  • Practical knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with an understanding of production reliability and engineering quality.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Appian, Pega or other platforms supporting wealth distribution, advisor experience and investment operations.

  • Understanding of North American wealth regulatory requirements, including KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS and relevant Canadian privacy and financial services regulations.

Why Join Capco
  • Deliver high-impact technology solutions for Tier 1 financial institutions.

  • Work in a collaborative, flat, and entrepreneurial consulting culture.

  • Access continuous learning, training, and industry certifications.

  • Be part of a team shaping the future of digital financial services.

  • Help shape the future of digital transformation across FS & Energy.
