Role Description

Job Purpose • Project manager with techno functional skills responsible for implementing applications in the bank. Experience in working in banking environment a must.

Job Responsibilities (JR):


• Reviews and signs off on the proposed architecture – recommends solutions changes to comply with architectural guidelines.

• Integrates solutions with existing systems within the bank, identifies impact areas and gaps, have them addressed through relevant team

• Examines systems and identifies improvement areas, implements solutions to achieve better service levels through monitoring and automated remediation.


Actionable


• Translate user stories into technical solutions that are performing at large and distributed scale. Collaborate with development partners and business and internal teams

• Review and confirm architecture, ensure signoffs from enterprise architecture team

• Ensure solution implementation up to production -> validate architecture; procure and provision resources; install and configure application; integrate with involved systems; holistically test solution; coordinate with control functions and ensure signoffs; implement in production; handover to production management team.

• Identify and implement changes in existing systems required to integrate new solution being developed

• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.

• Identify and remove impediments by collaborating with internal control functions of the bank.


Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related area,

• ~10-12 years of software engineering experience in financial services domain

• ~5-8 years of delivery experience: implementing financial applications performing at scale through its lifecycle – design, install/configure, integrate, test, release in a banking environment


Key Skills

Architecture, Technical Leadership, Consulting, Delivery


• Experience in working with middleware, streaming and database technologies like Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDb etc.

• Knowledge of web services, API, REST, RPC

• Working knowledge on cloud scaling and containerization– K8S etc.
