Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians in the shop
- Schedule and perform maintenance and repairs on a fleet of school buses
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Generate and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Monitor shop performance and implement improvements
- Ensure adherence to Ontario Ministry of Transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician License
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License; willingness to obtain a Class B license (we provide training)
- Experience in diesel or automotive maintenance and repair
- Previous experience in a lead technician or supervisory role preferred
- Must possess a complete mechanic’s tool set
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program (training and bonuses provided)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
