Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of corporate and commodity tax filings. Manage relationships and collaborate with various internal departments to deliver relevant and reliable financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders, including senior management and external tax authorities.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver accurate, timely tax reporting to management and external tax authorities
- Provide leadership to the taxation team, providing coaching and support and setting team objectives
- Provide expertise and consultation on tax interpretations to management and business units
- Stay current on emerging tax and regulatory developments, including industry best practices

- Comprehensive understanding of tax and regulatory environment, accounting policies, corporate tax policies and financial accounting and reporting principles (IFRS)
- Advanced researcher who can provide analysis of complex financial issues and make recommendation
- Strong communicator, able to share complex financial information at the level appropriate to the situation
- Positive leader who can influence others to achieve results in the best interest of the team and company
What you’ll need:
- Undergraduate degree in business administration/commerce
- CPA designation
- At least six years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
