About FutureSight

FutureSight is a venture studio that co-founds and funds B2B AI software companies. We bring ideas, early validation, capital, and an embedded team to the company-creation process. Our leadership combines experienced builders and operators with institutional investors — giving our ventures a strong foundation from day zero.

We're growing fast, and we're hiring a Talent Associate to help us find the people who will build the next generation of AI companies with us.

About the role

Talent is the most critical ingredient in venture building. In this role, you’ll lead recruitment and talent development for both FutureSight’s core team and the ventures we co-create. You'll work closely with our Studio partners and early-stage founders to source top-tier talent, build repeatable talent processes, and shape teams from the ground up.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Toronto.

What you'll do

Find the people, build and run sourcing for founder and operator searches across the Studio and ventures. Use outbound, referrals, events, and content to surface candidates who wouldn't apply to a job board. Maintain the talent CRM as a living asset, not a graveyard of stale leads.

Build the machine. Help turn one-off hires into repeatable processes: scorecards, interview kits, sourcing playbooks. Track funnel metrics and use them to make the next search faster and sharper than the last.

What we're looking for
  • 3–5 years in recruiting, sourcing, talent, or a related role, ideally with exposure to startups, VCs, or studios
  • Sharp judgment about people. You can tell the difference between someone who interviews well and someone who will actually run through walls.
  • A genuine interest in the startup ecosystem.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, empathetic, curious, and direct
  • Highly organized; you can run multiple searches in parallel without dropping threads
  • Comfortable in ambiguity. We don't always know what we're hiring for on day one of a search.
Nice to have
  • Prior experience at a recruiting firm, early-stage VC, accelerator, or studio
  • Exposure to B2B SaaS or AI startups
  • A personal network in the Toronto or broader North American startup ecosystem
  • Familiarity with DEI hiring practices
Why join us
  • Sit at the front of the company-creation process — you'll meet the founders before they're founders
  • Work directly with the Studio's partners and Head of Talent; visibility from day one
  • A clear path to Talent Partner as the Studio grows
  • Competitive comp with equity upside in the Studio and the ventures we build
  • Hybrid, Toronto-based, with the autonomy to do the job well
