We are currently hiring a full time Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our team in Toronto. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for creating a great candidate experience, screening, interviewing and the selecting top talent for Spectrum Health Care. Job Description- Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide best in class candidate experience from the first contact to onboarding
- Review resumes, phone screen and interview candidates, conduct reference checks, collect documentation, and schedule for orientation
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships internally to understand current and future workforce needs
- Be an ambassador of our brand to improve our employer brand strategy around hiring and retention
- Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process through effective communication to ensure a positive candidate experience,
- Source both active and passive candidates with the intent on identifying, connecting, and recruiting the best talent
- 1+ years’ experience in high volume talent acquisition role
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
- Basic understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and hiring best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and eagerness to learn
- In office role in Toronto (Bloor/Yonge) office
